> Garden Flat in Highgate Village 2002
Having bought a completely run down two bedroom garden flat,
her client needed a good size budget and a lot of patience.
The client wanted a modern bathroom and timeless kitchen. A
mix between contemporary and classical style, with emphasis
on being elegant, decorative and inviting for all remaining
rooms.
The flat was stripped of everything, except any architectural
details worth saving such as the coving, fireplace etc. Two
walls were knocked down, and rebuilt according to plans. New
pipes and plumbing, new electrical wires and fittings were installed.
All walls and ceilings were repaired and skimmed. New flooring
were fitted throughout. A new kitchen and bathroom was designed
and installed. Throughout, all rooms were redesigned and furnished.
