Portfolio > House & Garden Fair 1998 — Design of a Dining room Since the House & Garden Fair was established, former students representing KLC School of Design have designed rooms with a theme at the Fair. In 1998 the theme and inspiration for the design was North, South, East and West. With Tina's background from Norway she designed the North room with her inspiration coming from the Ice Sea Cathedral Tromsoe. She was awarded a Gold medal for excellent design by BIDA. Although Gordon Lindsey (designer of the overall Fair and the one who handed over the award) said that a Silver medal would match the room set better. Tina was happy to make an exception to the colour matching rules! Next project Back
