The painted ceiling compass rose described the NSEW walls of this boys bedroom. The bed was made into the little boys Island and boat. It also had the double function of being a play table and seating which could be changed into one extra bed. The bed and wardrobes where designed by Tina. Her client frequently travelled to the Cayman Islands, and had brought his son with him and they had a fantastic time. This gave Tina the idea for the bed. Her client had family in New York and his little boy loved that city. That gave the second idea for the wardrobe design. The lights on the top of the wardrobes made it more magical to be in the bedroom at night and the parents said that the boy loved his bed and there was no problem putting him to sleep in his room.
